Job Title: Project Manager

Position Summary: Gambit Construction is looking for a highly motivated Multi-family Construction Project Managers. The ideal candidate will have multi-family strong renovation experience with working relationships of experienced sub-contractors he/she can bring along. The Project Manager will have the overall responsibility for his team’s performance and customer satisfaction. Each Project Manager has full profit and performance responsibility for their projects.
Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday (some days may require more than 8 hours, some weeks may require additional workdays). May be required to attend industry/company functions outside of normal business hours.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

- Directly supervises 4 to 6 Project Managers
- Assist PM in construction budgets and construction schedules
- Verify material, subcontractor, and labor requirements.
- Verify the buy-out of jobs within an approved construction budget
- Supervise, train and motivate the Project Managers
- Conduct regular onsite inspections.
- Assist Project Manager in solving complex construction and code problems as well as subcontractor relations issues.
- Verify the budget for projects to make sure it’s on track
- Participate in pre-construction meetings
- Inspect job sites at least weekly; produce weekly reports to the customer.
- Verify change orders are documented.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through job completion.
- Oversee buyout for each project.
- Maintain healthy relationships with vendors and subcontractors
- Find new vendors and subcontractors
- Spot-check sub-invoices weekly
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints.
- Advise Ownership of problems with staff and projects.
- Participate in the emergency on-call rotation and manage the BUCU process and equipment.
